UPDATE: Hillside Centre patient located

RCMP say Jordan Abbate has been located safe and sound.

KAMLOOPS – An 18-year-old male requiring medical care left the psychiatric centre Monday night and has not been seen since.

Jordan Abbate was last seen around 10:40 p.m., June 22, when he left Hillside Centre. The 6’3” 140-lbs Caucasian male has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing yellow pyjama pants and a grey pyjama shirt.

Abbate does require medical treatment and police are concerned for his wellbeing. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or their local detachment.
