KAMLOOPS – Thousands on the North Shore and in Brocklehurst woke to no power this morning after a bird contacted wires causing an outage.
B.C. Hydro is reported an outage affecting 3,173 customers as of about 5:40 a.m.
The cause was not immediately clear but was later determined to be caused by a bird contacting the wires.
Power was restored by about 7:25 a.m.
