PENTICTON – The 68th annual Penticton Peachfest begins day three events at Okanagan Lake Park with the West Coast Lumberjack Show, starting at 12:30 p.m., and again at 4:10 and 7:25 p.m.
Musical performances for Friday include the following acts:
– 13 Broken Bones (music from the 70s and 80s) at 1:45 p.m.
– A-P and the Magpies (dance band) at 4:45 p.m.
– Seattle All City Band at 5:35 p.m.
– Beamer at 6:05
– Dale Seaman and Hwy 97 (country music) at 6:35 p.m.
– King and Cash (country music) at 8 p.m.
– Headline act George Canyon at 9:30 p.m.
Other performances at Okanagan Lake Park include:
– Fresh BC Talent Quest: Shaughnessy Rose at 1:05 p.m.
– The Black Widow Rope Spinners at 1:25 p.m
– Mazur Polish Dancers at 2:25 p.m.
– William James, hypnotist, at 2:50 p.m.
– Kupala UK Dancers at 5:15 p.m.
– The Reel Peach Festival and 50/50 at 9:15 p.m.
The Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy will be staging a free concert in Gyro Park beginning at 1 p.m.
At 2 p.m., the first annual Peach Festival PDA Chefs Cook-off gets underway in Gyro Park. Four Penticton chefs battle it out for the title of “Peachfest Champion” in a test of culinary skills.
The crowning of Miss Penticton takes place at Cleland Theatre at 7 p.m.
