Rockets coach nominated for award
The coach of the Kelowna Rockets was among the nominees announced today for the Eastern and Western conference 2013 WHL Awards.
Ryan Huska was nominated for WHL coach of the year.
Other Rockets nominees include Bruce Hamilton for executive of the year, Zach Franko for most sportsmanlike player of the year and Rourke Chartier for Scholastic player of the year.
Finalists will be named April 18 while winners along with the WHL player of the year will be announced at the 2013 WHL awards luncheon in Calgary May 1.
