KAMLOOPS – The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack pack their bags again for another weekend of play in the Canada West women’s soccer league.
The ‘Pack split their matches last weekend (Sept. 4 and 5), being shut out in Manitoba and then taking Winnipeg.
This time around, it’s on the bus to Edmonton for a match Friday (Sept. 11) against the Alberta Pandas before moving west to Prince George for a Sunday (Sept. 13) encounter with the University of Northern British Columbia Timberwolves.
TRU downed UNBC in exhibition play in Prince George last month 2-1.
The WolfPack’s road trip isn’t over after this weekend. On Sept. 18 to 19, they will visit the Trinity Western University Spartans and the University of Fraser Valley Cascades. Their home opener is Saturday, Sept. 26, when they entertain the University of Victoria Vikes. Kick off at Hillside Stadium is 2 p.m.
