
Man walks Brock neighbourhood wielding fake guns
KAMLOOPS – RCMP members arrested a man with two imitation firearms in a Brock neighbourhood Monday evening around 8:30 p.m.
A 25-year-old man remains in custody after police seized two BB guns. Officers saw the man walking on Desmond Street when he placed what appeared to be a long-barrelled gun under a parked vehicle.
Officers demanded the man drop the second gun which looked like a handgun. He was arrested without incident.
Police are recommending charges relating to imitation firearms and uttering threats. The incident is connected to a domestic file.
Cpl. Cheryl Bush, a spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP says the man will face his charges in court this afternoon.
