PENTICTON – South Okanagan residents have a unique opportunity to take part in the movie business.
Odyssey Media and Reel One Pictures are looking for extras for the TV movie Hand in Love being filmed in Osoyoos. It will air on The Movie Network in Canada.
Laurie Pavon-Solis is in charge of background casting for the romantic comedy and says she is looking for more local residents. Over 100 locals have been cast as extra so far.
“I have 20 holes to fill, including 10 spots for Thursday, Oct. 22 and eight spots for Tuesday, Oct. 27,” she says. “I have people from Osoyoos, Oliver, Penticton and Kelowna coming out to be part of this film, and I’d love to get some new people out.”
The Valentine's Day movie is about an on again – off again reletionship featuring a young couple who deal with a business, a vineyard, a blog and a baby, according to a media release.
It's being shot at the Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort and Spa in Osoyoos.
Pavon-Solis says anyone who is interested can sign up by sending a photo and days of availability to: laurie@extrascasting.ca.
