OKANAGAN – Temperatures should be close to seasonal normals, on both the high and low end, this weekend and with those cooler overnight temperatures comes frost.
Environment Canada is calling for a high in the double digits today, Oct. 21, and Saturday, with a high of 9 Celsius being forecast for Sunday. The seasonal normal high for this time of year is 10 C throughout the region.
Overnight lows will be below the seasonal normal of 2 C this weekend though, with the mercury expected to dip to between -2 C and 1 C.
A mix of sun and cloud is expected today with frost overnight in the Vernon and Kelowna areas and patchy frost in the Penticton area. The rest of the weekend should see a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday with sunny skies on Sunday.
