First snow falling on Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – While higher elevations and local snow hills have already seen the white stuff this season, Kamloops is getting its first taste of snow this morning.
Residents in the higher parts of town woke to snow already on the ground this morning, Nov. 5, and it didn't take long for flurries to fall at the lower elevations as well, though not much is sticking around just yet.
Environment Canada is calling for flurries to end early this morning with a mix of sun and cloud the rest of the day. The weather office is forecasting a high of 8 Celsius today with an overnight low of -3 C. On Friday a high of just 5 C is expected while Saturday a high of 13 C is being forecast. The normal seasonal high at this time of year is 7 C.
