KELOWNA – No one was home when a car started on fire next to a Kelowna home early this morning.
Firefighters were called to the car fire at about 7:45 a.m., Dec. 19, in the 700-block of Kuipers Crescent in the Upper Mission.
Flames from the car had spread to the outside of the home’s garage and were quickly put out by fire crews, Platoon Capt. Eric Simpson says in a media release, adding no one was home at the time.
The cause of the car fire is under investigation.
