VERNON – The presents are unwrapped and the ornaments packed up. It’s time for the Christmas tree to go.
If you’re ready to part with this year’s Christmas tree, here’s the low-down.
Residents of Vernon, Coldstream, and the B.X. are invited to take their Christmas trees to the drop-off site located at 47 Avenue and 20 Street in the vacant lot next to St. John's Ambulance. This service will only be provided until Jan. 15, 2016. No plastic bags or other debris is to be left at the site. The service is offered to residents free of charge by the city.
Christmas trees will not be picked up with regular residential refuse.
