SUV driver dies in rollover crash in south Anchorage
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A man died in a one-car rollover crash in south Anchorage.
Police say a driver in a sport utility vehicle Sunday morning was heading west on O’Malley Road and failed to negotiate the left-hand curve where the road turns into Minnesota Drive.
The SUV rolled several times and came to rest in a ditch.
Police did not immediately release the name of the driver because next of kin had not been notified.
Police closed the road while investigating the crash. The road reopened at 10 a.m. Sunday.
