Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX:LSG). Miner. Up seven cents, or 6.48 per cent, to $1.15 on 6.7 million shares.
Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TSX:TRQ). Miner. Down one cent, or 0.20 per cent, to $5.08 on 6.5 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace and rail equipment. Unchanged at $2.42 on 6.04 million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up seven cents, or 2.52 per cent, to $2.85 on 4.6 million shares.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (TSX:PRE). Oil and gas. Down three cents, or 0.83 per cent, to $3.58 on 4.2 million shares.

Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Miner. Up 47 cents, or 3.03 per cent, to $15.99 on 3.05 million shares. Chairman John Thornton says the miner will revamp its approach to executive compensation after a majority of its shareholders voted thumbs down in a non-binding say-on-pay resolution at the company’s annual meeting in Toronto.
TransAlta Corp. (TSX:TA). Utilities. Up six cents, or 0.49 per cent, to $12.34 on 799,771 shares. The Calgary-based power producer says it’s cutting its workforce in its Canadian coal generating unit by 20 per cent as it works towards trimming annual costs by about $12 million. The company started the cost-saving initiative in January and says a “large part” of the savings are already begin captured.
