WEST KELOWNA – Several residents of Glenrosa awoke this morning to a couple visitors in their neighbourhood.
Dobbin Road resident Randy Millis says the two female moose were in a neighbours yard on Lower Glenrosa Road grazing and enjoying the early morning weather.
Millis had time to go back to his house and get his camera and the moose didn't leave until a snow plow came by and scared them off.
He says this is the second day in a row the moose have been spotted in the neighbourhood. Millis says the only concern was that drivers were stopping to have a better look.
"That's why we live in B.C.," Millis says. "Here we are in an urban area but still so close to nature."
