KAMLOOPS – A body was found in the rural area of the Kamloops Indian Reserve this afternoon.
RCMP were called around 1 p.m. today, Feb. 6, after a hiker found the deceased body.
Kamloops Rural RCMP, the serious crime unit and B.C. Coroners Service have deemed the investigation as ‘not criminal in nature’, Sgt. Darren Michels says in a release.
The coroners service continues to investigate and is expected to release further information at a later date.
