Gold miner Goldcorp reports third-quarter sales and profit up from year ago

VANCOUVER – Goldcorp Inc. (TSX:G), which keeps its books in U.S. dollars, said Thursday it earned US$498 million or 61 cents per diluted share for its latest quarter, up from $336 million or 41 cents per diluted share a year ago. Revenue totalled $1.54 billion, up from $1.31 billion.
