Strong, Friedel lead Fox announcing team for Copa America

NEW YORK – John Strong and former U.S. goalie Brad Friedel will be the lead announcing team for Fox’s coverage of the Centennial Copa America this summer.

Fox announced Tuesday that JP Dellacamera, Justin Kutcher and Mark Followill will be the other play-by-play announcers. The analysts are Stuart Holden, Cobi Jones and Herculez Gomez, all former U.S. World Cup players.

The tournament that will be played in the U.S. from June 3-26 commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first Copa America, South America’s championship.
