Man suspected of killing wife in Surrey home arrested in Vancouver

VANCOUVER – A man suspected of killing his wife and critically injuring a second woman has been arrested in Vancouver days after police issued a warrant for his arrest.

Investigators say 34-year-old Gordon David was arrested by patrol officers on Tuesday while he was walking down a street.

Police say he is facing a manslaughter charge in the death of his spouse, 23-year-old Cady Quaw, and an aggravated assault charge in an incident involving another woman.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton said earlier this week that police were called to a home in Surrey to find the two injured women on Sunday, the day before the warrant was issued.

Quaw died on arrival at the hospital, and the second woman remains in critical condition.
