Some Kamloops residents may see water discolouration and pressure drop

KAMLOOPS – Continued emergency repairs may effect water service for some Kamloops residents.

Repairs to the Juniper water booster station on Tuesday, March 15 may cause decreased water pressure or discoloured water in North Kamloops, Brocklehurst, Westsyde and Valleyview.

The city says the discolouration is not harmful, and that running the cold water tap will eliminate the issue.

The city also warns the work may cause traffic delays on Highland Drive from March 15 until March 31.

The repair is the second of four to fix issues with the booster station as pipes are repaired and updated beneath it.
