SAO PAULO – Police say a bus overturned on a curve in northern Brazil, killing seven passengers and injuring 20.
The accident occurred early Sunday near the city of Dianopolis in the state of Tocantins.
Police told reporters the accident appears to have been caused by brake failure. No other vehicle was involved.
Police said they did not know the total number of passengers on the bus.
