Skull-scalp transplant in Texas is latest medical milestone after decades of progress

Doctors in Houston, Texas, have done the world’s first scalp-skull transplant. The May 22 operation was to help a cancer patient with a large head wound. Here’s a look at some other dates for first successful transplants:
