KELOWNA – While the big winning ticket for the $60-million jackpot in last night’s, March 18, Lotto Max draw was purchased somewhere in Ontario, one of two winning tickets for one of the MaxMillions prizes was sold in Kelowna.
Two tickets, one sold in Kelowna and one sold in Quebec, will split one of the 29 MaxMillions prizes of $1-million each available in the draw. So the Kelowna ticket is worth a cool $500,000.
Only seven of the prizes were won outright while the rest are being shared.
The Lotto Max grand prize was last won Feb. 5, when a resident of Desboro, Ont. held a ticket worth $60-million.
The jackpot for the next draw on Mar. 25 will be approximately $32-million.
You can check the winning numbers at the BCLC website.
