PENTICTON – A pickup truck’s interior was badly damaged following a fire in Kaleden yesterday.
FIre Chief Darlene Bailey says firefighters were called to the truck fire on Lakehill Road at 12:30 p.m. April 20.
Bailey says the dashboard in a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup caught fire.
The owner of the truck used a fire extinguisher on the blaze prior to the arrival of the fire department, she says.
“It was pretty much out when we arrived, we just monitored the scene for a while to make sure it was out.”
What caused the fire, or the extent of damage, is unknown at this point.
