KELOWNA – The Kelowna Rockets are on the search for a new head coach after just one season with Brad Ralph at the helm.
Ralph wants to pursue other coaching opportunities, the Rockets say in a media release, and the team and former head coach "have agreed to part ways."
The Rockets went 48-20-4-0 under Ralph, their season ending after being swept by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Western Hockey League Western Conference Championship series.
“I’m appreciative of the opportunity given to me by the Rockets this past season,” Ralph says in the release. “I’m very proud of the success which the club enjoyed in reaching the Western Conference finals. I wish the club and its players the best of success in the future."
The team will begin searching for a replacement immediately, with interested applicants asked to email Bruce Hamilton at bruceh@kelownarockets.com.
