Barnett scores twice as the Rockets beat the Pats 5-1

KELOWNA, B.C. – JT Barnett scored twice as the Kelowna Rockets downed the visiting Regina Pats 5-1 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

Ryan Olsen, Madison Bowey and Colton Sissons also scored for the Rockets (13-8-2), who won for the first time in three outings, while Myles Bell chipped in with three assists.

Lane Scheidl scored the lone goal for the Pats (11-13-3), who lost in regulation time for the first time in six games.

Jordon Cooke made 15 saves for the win as Matt Hewitt turned aside 29 shots in defeat.

Kelowna went 1-for-1 on the power play while Regina failed to score with three chances on the man advantage.
