Bayer buys Canadian health-care software developer Radimetrics

BERLIN – Drug and chemical maker Bayer AG says is buying Radimetrics Inc., a Canadian company that specializes in developing health-care software.

Bayer said today that its health-care unit has reached an agreement to buy all the shares in privately held Radimetrics, which is based in Toronto.

It did not disclose financial details of the deal.

Bayer says Radimetrics’ flagship product is eXposure, software which measures patients’ exposure to radiation over a course of scans.
