Man accused of killing his uncle in Lytton to be tried by judge and jury
KAMLOOPS – A man accused of murdering his uncle in Lytton has chosen to be tried by judge and jury, a Kamloops Provincial Court heard today, June 16.
Colton Smith is charged with one count of murder in the death of his uncle Jeremiah Johnson Smith.
The trial is expected to begin June 27 and last four days.
Defence lawyer Richard Kaizer told the court eight civilian witnesses and two police witnesses will be called to the stand.
