‘The Mindy Project’ set for November broadcast premiere on City

TORONTO – Canadian fans of “The Mindy Project” are going to have to get their fix online.

City says it won’t broadcast the fourth season until Nov. 5, even though fans south of the border will get it Tuesday through the streaming service Hulu.

The Canadian broadcaster says it will post the first seven episodes weekly at Citytv.com, starting Wednesday.

The workplace romantic comedy, which stars Mindy Kaling as a New York City gynecologist, was cancelled by Fox but quickly rescued by Hulu in the United States.
