
Edmonton man identified as Skaha Lake drowning victim
PENTICTON – The B.C. Coroners Office has released the name of the man who drowned in Skaha Lake on Saturday.
Illas Bajramoski, 69, of Edmonton was found in about 60 feet of water just off Sudbury Beach on Skaha Lake in Penticton, July 30, according to a media release.
Bajramoski, who was on vacation, had been last seen on the water about an hour earlier. He was brought to shore by boat where attempts to revive him failed.
Members of Bajramoski's family have been notified of his death.
