Multiple road closures for the Okanagan Dream Rally

KELOWNA – The August Family Foundation’s inaugural Okanagan Dream Rally will roll through downtown Kelowna on Sunday, Aug. 7.

The event begins at 8 a.m. and will end at approximately 12:30 p.m., with about 80 vehicles in procession starting at Kerry Park and travelling along Bernard Avenue.

To accommodate the event, Bernard Avenue will be closed from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. between Abbott Street and Water Street. The Mill Street and Bernard Avenue intersection will be closed. Traffic will be able to access Water Street as the intersection will remain open.

Vehicles parked on Bernard Avenue during the closure will be courtesy towed to the City Hall parking lot.

Service disruptions and traffic delays may occur throughout the morning due to the road closure. Motorists are advised to plan ahead to avoid delays.
