Police looking for couple accused of shoplifting from Kelowna MEC

KELOWNA – A man and a woman were recorded stealing clothing and a heart rate monitor from Mountain Equipment Co-op in Kelowna two weeks ago.

A media release from Crime Stoppers says the couple were in the Orchard Plaza sporting goods store July 22 when an employee tried to stop them from leaving with unpaid merchandise.

“Once confronted, they continued out of the store and took off on bicycles in separate directions,” the release says.

If you can identify either of these persons of interest please contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers.
