Vehicles stolen from Cache Creek reportedly seen in Central and Northeastern B.C.

CACHE CREEK – While a traveller from Oregon rested in a Cache Creek hotel, thieves made off with a pickup truck, trailer, Jeep and about $10,000 in tools and personal items.

Sightings of the truck, trailer and Jeep stolen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Aug. 2, have been circulating on social media, Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a media release.

The reported sightings in the Central and Northeast area of B.C. are unconfirmed, but have been circulating on social media.

Police are searching for the culprits and asking the public for help in locating these stolen vehicles.

"We would certainly like to make an arrest and reunite these vehicles with their owner. Any information on their whereabouts would be helpful,” Moskaluk said in the release.

The Ashcroft RCMP ask that should anyone see these vehicles, to immediately call 911, or persons having information about the whereabouts of the truck, trailer or Jeep to contact the Ashcroft RCMP at 250-453-2216, or via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
