KELOWNA – Thanks to a former Kelowna Rockets goalie coach, hockey’s ultimate prize will soon be making a brief stop at Prospera Place this Friday.
Kim Dillabaugh, a Rockets goalie coach and full time member of the Los Angeles Kings coaching staff, will hold a public viewing of the cup at Prospera Place Friday between 3 and 5 p.m. where fans will have a chance to see and have their picture taken free of charge.
Dillabaugh, a former goalie, joined the Rockets coaching staff in 2004 as a goaltender and assistant coach before taking a full time position with the Kings.
He currently lives in Kelowna with his wife Bonnie.
