West Bench Elementary School appoints new principal

PENTICTON – The Board of Education of School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) is pleased to announce that Darryl Tenisci has been appointed Principal of West Bench Elementary School, effective August 15, 2016.

For the past two years, Darryl has worked as Vice-Principal at Summerland Middle School. Prior to joining the staff at Summerland Middle School, he was Vice-Principal at McNicoll Park Middle School.

Before that, he was a teacher at both Skaha Lake Middle School and McNicoll Park Middle School for a total of five years. As well, he served as Summer School Principal – Middle/Secondary Levels in 2010 and 2011. Before joining School District No. 67, Darryl had been a teacher in Northland School Division 61 (Alberta).

Darryl has a Master of Education in Leadership and Administration from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Education Degree (Secondary) from the University of Alberta.
