Victor Garber marries longtime partner in Thanksgiving ceremony

TORONTO – It was a happy Thanksgiving for “The Flash” actor Victor Garber — he married his longtime partner Rainer Andreesen.

Andreesen broke the news on Instagram with a photo of the pair arm-in-arm wearing matching dark suits.

A brief caption says the duo eloped in Tofino, B.C., after 16 years together.

Garber followed up by posting a photo from what appears to be the ceremony, calling the picturesque B.C. community a “magical place to tie the knot.”

Andreesen, a native of Prince Rupert, B.C., is an artist and model.

Garber, who was born in London, Ont., has been nominated for an Emmy six times for guest and supporting roles and played Canadian diplomat Ken Taylor in Ben Affleck’s Oscar-winning “Argo.”

“YES WE DID! #justgotmarried #elopedintofino #canada @therealvictorgarber #after16years,” reads the caption to Andreesen’s photo, posted Saturday.

“Wickaninnish Inn Tofino BC magical place to tie the knot,” wrote Garber in his post on Monday.
