Grandmother uses perfume, swift kick to get rid of kidnapper

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – A 61-year-old Ohio grandmother says she used a bottle of perfume and a swift kick to get rid of a kidnapper.

The Hamilton-Middletown Journal-News reports (http://bit.ly/1trlTLm ) a masked man approached Joyce Kenney as she stepped out of her Middletown home, grabbed her and forced her to drive him through the city.

Kenney says she sprayed the man in his eyes with perfume and kicked him as hard as she could. She says he went out the door and she saw him “bounce on the street.”

She then drove to a gas station where she called police and waited for officers to arrive.

The suspect is still at large. The incident remains under investigation.
