78th Provincial Winter Fair Returns to Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Cattle, sheep, 4-H members, photography projects, horse show and gymkhana are just the beginning of the plans for the 78th Provincial Winter Fair (PWF) in Kamloops Sept. 23, 24, and 25.

The Fair will be held at the picturesque Circle Creek Equestrian Centre in Knutsford, just minutes out of the City Centre, tucked in behind McGowan Park and across Highway 5A from the Aberdeen area.

“We are so pleased to be working with the team at Circle Creek to put on the best fair possible in the Kamloops area,” PWF Chairperson David Arduini said. “The PWF Committee and our parent body, Kamloops Exhibition Association, have been working hard to secure this site and a variety of activities and entertainment for exhibitors and fairgoers,” Mr. Arduini added.

“Our focus will be on learning, with clinics on showing and fitting beef cattle and sheep, and English and Western horsemanship,” Arduini said. “We are looking to further celebrate local agriculture with a Farm2Chef grazing event and a Sunday Farmers Market.”

These events will showcase regional agriculture to Kamloops fairgoers, who will also be entertained in a Kids Zone and by Main Stage entertainers.

As details are finalized, more information will be available on the PWF website, or by calling David Arduini at 250-573-5803 or 250-374- 8898.
