MONTREAL – Aerospace company CAE is investing $1 billion in innovation over the next five years.
CAE president Marc Parent says one of the main objectives of the investment will be to fund a project to develop training solutions in aviation, health care and defence and security.
Parent made the announcement this afternoon alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard at company headquarters in Montreal.
The federal government will contribute $150 million to the project, while Quebec will give $47.5 million.
