KAMLOOPS – Lord Stanley’s mug made several appearances in Kamloops Saturday including a stop at the Interior Savings Centre for a pubic photo-op.
Kamloops native and Los Angeles Kings Assistant Coach Davis Payne toured the cup around, starting at Sun Peaks before heading to Kamloops.
The Kings beat the New York Rangers in five games to win the Stanley Cup, the second win for the team in three years.
Since June players and staff have been toting the cup around to more than 30 different home towns.
The cup made a stop in Kelowna on Friday with Kim Dillabaugh, another member of the Kings coaching staff.
