Police seeking owners of car as potential witnesses in a murder

KELOWNA – Have you seen this car? Police think the owners may be able to provide clues to a murder.

The Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit said this evening, Sept. 13, they are seeking the owners of this red four-door sedan. Cpl. Tania Carroll says the car was travelling south on the 400 block of Hein Road on Aug. 5, 2016 at approximately 6 a.m.

"Investigators believe the vehicle occupant(s) are potential witnesses in a murder which occurred on Hein Road in Kelowna on Aug. 5, 2016," she said.

Police were called to the notorious neighbourhood just after 6 that morning for a report of shots fired. Emergency crews found a 35-year-old Kelowna man dead inside one of the units in a fourplex.
