West Kelowna voters say no to civic centre by thin margin

WEST KELOWNA – "No" voters defeated West Kelowna Mayor Doug Findlater and his councillors' attempts to build a City Hall for the City of West Kelowna, but by a very close margin.

The no side won today's referendum with 4,212 votes to 4,185 in favour, according to a release from the City.

Findlater and council asked voters to support borrowing $7.7 million for the project.
