Some snow at the Pennask Summit on Highway 97C
THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – It’s snowing at the Pennask Summit on the Okanagan Connector, albeit not a lot of snow.
Small amounts of snow are visible in the image from the Drive B.C. webcam at the Pennask Summit on Highway 97C this afternoon, Sept. 19.
The road temperature as of 2 p.m. is around 3 Celsius with no reports of slippery sections on the highway.
But be warned, with rain showers in the forecast and the overnight temperature at the summit's elevation of about 1,700 metres falling below the freezing mark, there could be more flurries in Connector's future.
