Man loses scooter to thieves
KAMLOOPS – A 63-year-old man travelling on a scooter was assaulted before thieves made off with his wheels early this morning.
At about 5 a.m. the man was on 5th Avenue aboard his black Pride scooter when two Caucasian males, approximately 25-years-old approached. The man was treated at Royal Inland Hospital and released with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects were last seen in the area of 5th Avenue and Columbia Street.
Police are asking anyone who might have information to come forward.
