Petrowest Corp. (TSX:PRW). Oil and gas. Up 1.5 cents, or 3.23 per cent, to 48 cents on 7.4 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up one cent, or 0.76 per cent, to $1.33 on 7.1 million shares.
ProMetic Life Sciences Inc. (TSX:PLI). Biotechnology. Up 12 cents, or 3.77 per cent, to $3.30 on 4.9 million shares.
Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil and gas. Down eight cents, or 0.90 per cent, to $8.82 on 2.4 million shares. An executive of Suncor Energy (TSX:SU) (down 18 cents, or 0.49 per cent, to $36.42 on 855,750 shares) said the company won’t extend its hostile takeover offer for Canadian Oil Sands past its Dec. 4 deadline.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up 31 cents, or 6.44 per cent, to $5.12 on 1.8 million shares.
TSO3 Inc. (TSX:TOS). Health-care. Down 10 cents, or 4.93 per cent, to $1.93 on 1.6 million shares.

Goldcorp Inc. (TSX:G). Miner. Up 25 cents, or 1.60 per cent, to $15.88 on 399,588 shares. The gold miner has suspended operations at its Musselwhite mine in northern Ontario while authorities investigate the death of a scoop operator in a rock fall at the mine.
