PENTICTON – The Penticton Community Centre’s pool problems do not seem to have an end.
The hot tub will not open Oct. 18 after all, according to a city media release.
The hot tub was filled over the weekend but staff found water levels fluctuating after monitoring it for the past few days.
“City staff are conducting further testing and will be updating the situation as more information becomes available,” spokesperson Mark Parker says in the release.
No opening date for the hot tub has been scheduled. The remainder of the community centre’s resources, including the main pools, remain open.
There have been several issues with the community centre's' pools and hot tub drains over the past few years, resulting in extended closures to the facility.
