Designer Norma Kamali working on health and beauty book

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Fashion designer Norma Kamali is teaming with physician Dr. Jingduan Yang on a book about looking and feeling young.

HarperCollins Publishing announced Tuesday that it was releasing “Facing East: Ancient Health + Beauty Secrets for the Modern Age.” The book is scheduled to come out March 1.

According to the publisher, advice will range from reducing processed sugars to exercising in the afternoon to washing your face with green tea.

Kamali, who turned 70 last year, is known for her “sleeping bag” coats and for designing the red bathing suit that Farrah Fawcett wore in her famous poster from the 1970s.
