High-risk B.C. woman with newborn baby has been found: New Westminster police

NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. – Police in New Westminster, B.C., say a 39-year-old "high-risk" woman and her newborn baby have been found safe.

The New Westminster Police Department had asked the public for help finding Bobbi Glogowski and her child after she went missing on Tuesday.

Police had said they were very concerned for the safety of the baby, who was born two days ago outside of hospital care.

Acting Sgt. Jeff Scott says the infant was being assessed by medical personnel, however, both mother and child appeared to be in good health.

He thanked the media and the public for its help successfully locating both Glogowski and her two-day-old child.
