Parking-space fight leaves tourist in stitches
PENTICTON – You've heard of road rage? Well maybe this will become known as parking rage.
Two tourists, likely on vacation, got into a tussle over a highly-sought parking space on South Beach Drive Sunday, sending one to hospital.
RCMP Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said sometime before 1 p.m. two tourists started arguing over who was first to a parking space. One tourist punched the other one, sending the injured person to hospital for two stitches. Neither party wished to press charges, Dellebuur said and the matter ended there.
No word on parking availability at the hospital.
