VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ ESSA Pharma Inc. (EPIX) on Friday reported a loss of $4 million in its fiscal first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 18 cents.
