EDMONTON – Forward Teddy Purcell has been traded by the Edmonton Oilers to the Florida Panthers.

Edmonton gets a 2016 third round draft pick in return.

Purcell has 11 goals and 21 assists in 61 games this season.

He has 98 goals and 196 assists over nine season with Edmonton, the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Los Angeles Kings.
